Featuring the works of Charles S. Tucker of Glendive, Montana.
Charles was born in Huntington, Texas and raised in a musically talented family in
Beaumont, Texas. He pursued a career as a Structural Engineer and is now enjoying retirement in Glendive, Montana.
Growing up he learned to play several different instruments and played in several
bands where he also composed music. In the late 1940's and early 1950's he worked as a disc jockey for KFDM Radio and
had the pleasure of working with George Jones and J.P. Richards, also known as "The Big Bopper".
Charles discovered his artistic talents in grade school and pursued the arts through
high school. While in high school he competed in a contest in commercial art in which he won the highest achievement
and he thereafter continued with private training in commercial art. He has shown and sold his work at private galleries
in several states, and is now an active member of the DCAU Gallery in Glendive.
