Featured Artist February 2009- Circle, Montana artist Pauline Gackle      Pauline is a fine artist now living in Circle, Montana. She was born in Wolfpoint and raised in Vida, Montana. She attended high school in Circle, then continued her education at the Billings Business College. Pauline attended some private art classes in Circle in the early 1980's, taught by a prominent Wolfpoint artist. Her first works were oil on canvas. She has since begun working in acrylics and enjoys painting western and wildlife scenes on natural rock and stone. Some of her subjects also include farm scenes, old homestead buildings, farm tractors, combines and old abandoned cars on the prairie. She actively participates in eastern Montana Arts and Crafts shows in and around Circle. The display for February 2009 includes a variety of Pauline's work on rock, stone and small farm implements and tools.
