Featuring the original works of Greg Hunt of Glendive, Montana.
Greg was born in Crosby, North Dakota and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming. He
attended Montana State University in Billings as an Fine Art and Education major. He completed his BS in
Education in 1970 and his MS in Education/ Counseling in 1981.
Greg feels his greatest artistic influence were the French Impressionists,
particularly Monet and Van Gogh. His interests in art began in grade school, where several of his teachers
encouraged his skills, however he was unable to pursue any formal art education until he started college.
Greg orefers watercolor and oil as his choice of mediums, as well as pencil and pen and ink. He enjoys a
variety of subjects, but favors landscapes and portraits. He is an active member of the Dawson County Arts
Unlimited Gallery in Glendive, and has served on the Board of Directors of DCAU in various capacities over
the years.
