Alissa Wynne

Featuring the original artwork of Alissa Wynne of Glendive, Montana.

Alissa is one of the youngest displaying artists at the DCAU Gallery. She is presently a student at Washington Middle School here in Glendive. She was raised in Mount Lake Terrace, Washington before moving to Glendive and has always had an active interest in the arts. Her mother was a Graphics Artist and has been the source of much of Alissa's influence and interest in art.

She enjoys many mediums, but admits to having not worked much in clay yet or having done any welding of metal sculptures (yet). These are two mediums she wishes to explore more. Her exploration into 3-D sculptures has been confined to carving soap figurines, but feels she needs to pursue this more. She does a great deal of drawing in pencil, pen and ink and colored pencil, and has a notable interest in Anime and Manga style cartoons and animation.
